There are 6 members in my family: My grandfather, grandmother, my 

father, mother, my brother and I.

Cu yi havan fratino? Ne, mi ne havan fratino.
Do you have a sister? No, I haven't a sister. 

Mia patro havan fratino. Xi esan mia onklino. Xi esan medikoro. 
My father has a sister, she is my aunt.   She is a doctor. 

Kio esan yia patro? Hi esan enjinero. Hi workan en workeyo. 
What is your father? He is an engineer. He works in a factory. 
Kio esan yia matro? Xi esan edukoro.  Xi edukan en lerneyo.
What is your mother? She is a teacher. She teaches in a school.

What is your brother? He is a postgraduate student. He works in an institute.

3. Grammar (Gramatiko )

(1) Suffix an- expresses  member, citizen, disciple etc. For example,
 Cino=China, Cinano=Chinese, urbo=city,  urbano=citizen.

(2) Suffix -ey- expresses place. For example, libro=book, libreyo=bookstore.  

Lerni=learn,  lerneyo=school.

4. Dialogues (Dialogos)

Kio esan yia ajo? What is your age? 

Mi esan bidek-tri yeros. I am 23 years old. 
Kioma horo esan? What time is it? 

La triu horo.  It is 3 o'clock.
